Greenhill Farm Guest House is a 15th century building, located on a working farm with access provided by a tarmac lane leading, up hill, to a loose stone parking area, at the front of the house.
There is a step up into the entrance porch and down into the reception area. The ground floor is restricted for wheel chair use by the steps and the narrowness of the entrance to the dinning room, due to the age of the building. The premises are well lit and menus are provided in large print. There is good colour contract to floors, walls and doorways. The bedrooms are on various levels, with numerous steps. Rooms are clearly signed with raised numbers. There are no downstairs bedrooms or toilet facilities. There is no lift to the first floor.
Wireless broadband and Internet access are available and ‘task lighting’ is available on request.
We are ‘child friendly’, providing board games, a games room and an outside play area. A cot and high chair are available. There are washing, drying and ironing facilities and freezer and microwave for guest’s use as well as tea facilities in the bedrooms and a chill cabinet with cold drinks and chocolate for sale.
We have a Gold standard, Welcome Host Scheme Award, Farm Tourism Course Certificate and a Bronze Welsh Food Hygiene Award.
We have a Welsh Enviromental Award for Sustainable Tourism. We also have a Green Policy and appreciate all assistance to work towards sustaing our planet for future generations. |
